Velas Turtle Festival

Hey Guys, Do you know about Velas & Velas Turtle Festival ? Velas is a small village in Ratnagiri district. Velas Turtle Festival– the main attraction of Velas, organized by an NGO named Sahydri Nisarga Mitra. It is an initiative taken by the NGO and whole Velas villagers to preserve the turtles and provide the protection to their eggs. Villagers also provide the home stays and food to the tourists. From last few years, it has gained quite attention among the tourists and nature lovers. The festival was mainly focused on the turtles. Kala Ghoda Art Festival 2015 in Photos

The most awaited and famous art festival in Mumbai, Kala Ghoda Festival and luckily, this time as well, I got a chance to visit the Kala Ghoda Festival 2015. Back in 2012, I had visited Kala Ghoda Festival with a few of my friends. Both the times,the place was heavily crowded due to the popularity of the festival, but it was a fun and refreshing experience to see thousands of people and many events happening in one place at one time. Apart from Mumbai Marathon, Kala Ghoda Festival is one of the popular events in Mumbai and it has gained a quite attention among the mumbaikars as well as the world tourists. Ganesh Chaturthi Festival

Ganesh Chaturthi, the festival in which entire nation celebrates and welcomes Lord Ganesh.I always love the festival celebration because I get a day off from work and I get a chance to visit my home.India is one of the most religious countries. Indian celebrates many festivals throughout the year which bring them closer to each other. Lord Ganesh is considered as the god of beginning and obstacle remover. Ganesh Chaturthi is a major Hindu festival celebrated across the India, especially in the Maharashtra. The Entire nation celebrates and welcomes Lord Ganesh. The festival lasts for around 1 to 12 days, wherein devotees bring Ganesh idol at home and chants mantras, after prayers devotees share a prasad (sweets) among the people.
