I Have Moved to Manchester, United Kingdom

You alright mate?  How’s 2017 treating you?  I hope you are doing great. Well for me, 2017 seems promising and the most exciting news of the year is ” I have moved to Manchester, UK” .  Yes, you heard it right! Yoo-Hoo ūüôā  Just to mention, I am one of those lucky software engineers who gets an opportunity to work abroad for onsite assignments for a certain time duration. I have migrated UK on short term work visa. Today morning, I arrived in Manchester and for a time being, I have accommodated in the beautiful hotel next to my office. New Office, New People, New City, New County ūüôā This is the best way to start my new year.  I can’t be happy than this and I am already in love with this place. Thank You 2016, Welcome 2017

So the time has come to say goodbye to our 2016. Looking back, it has been a great year for me and I would like to take an opportunity to thanks 2016 for all wonderful times and beautiful memories. I learned a lot in 2016 and I am ready to step out in new ways in 2017. Life is made up of special moments which makes it worth of living. My First Marathon

The one thing, I always wanted to do in Mumbai, finally I did it on last Sunday (18 Jan 2015). Yes! I ran a Marathon, Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon ‚Äď Dream Run (6km). I have been living in Mumbai since 4.5 years and I had heard so much about the famous Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon (SCMM). It is the largest Marathon in Asia. ¬†Fortunately, this time I got a chance to run a marathon. It was organized by my office team, Mastek Foundation. I am really thankful to the Mastek Foundation team for making The Run Day totally amazing and fun. It is my one of the best experiences, which everyone should have at least once in a lifetime. So, it started early Sunday morning, my roommate and I were fully energetic about the Marathon day. As expected, local trains toward the CST station were heavily crowded. When we first reached to CST station, I noticed colors everywhere. People were in groups, wearing colorful T-shirts mostly¬†representing their company. For us, it was a ‚ÄúGo Green‚ÄĚ …

Celebrity Wax Museum at Lonavala

Location ‚Äď Lonavala Attraction Type ‚Äď Wax Museum Celebrity Wax Museum Timing and Charges Timing – 9.00 AM ‚Äď 9.30 PM Entry Fees – Rs. 100 per person After spending a good time around Tiger point during my weekend trip to Lonavala. My friends and I went over celebrity wax museum. The Museum has wax statues of celebrities and famous personalities. Some of the statues are crafted so well as if they look like real ones, specially Prabhu Deva, A R Rehman and Anna Hajare. The Museum is small but well maintained. Visitors are allowed to take photographs but restricted to touch. Sunil Kandalloor, the man behind the wax museum.It is worth to see a great effort made by one man.(Celebrity wax museum is also called as India‚Äôs Madame Tussauds.) It is a good place to visit in Lonavala. It was fun to pose around statues and take photos.
