Welcome to my blog “The Travel Junkie”
I’m Manisha, an Indian girl who travels with the full-time job. I travel and I write my travel stories.
Well to begin with ‘About me’. (The hardest task to write about yourself, isn’t it?)
I am software engineer by profession and I work for a multinational company from Mumbai.
As soon as I completed my bachelor degree, I grabbed the one of the best jobs in IT industry and I am so proud of myself. At age 0f 22, I started earning. I still remember, when I got my first salary, I was so happy like the happiest person on the world. I was living my dreams; engineer degree job in MNC, corporate life, parties and the unlimited fun.
But the time flies, the four years of 9-5 jobs already passed with new learning, challenges, ups-downs making me realize; the day by day I am just earning, not actually living. I was fully occupied in 9-5 job. My life was so busy and hectic in between work and weekends.
One fine day, I made a list of my desires, what I want to be, have and experience. And when I analysed it deeply, I realized most of the things were related to travel experiences, nature, food, writing, knowing people and their culture etc.
Well, that spark was enough for me to do make my mind to start this blog to share my travel and living stories.
Yes, on that day I found what is my happiness and the purpose. What I want to be, have and experience. It did not take me much time to create my blog with help of WordPress, such awesome blogging platform.
So, this is pretty much story How I started travel blogging. However, I am not a professional writer or photographer, but it’s never too late to pursue your passion and your dreams.
What I love about the most about travel blogging? Well, it inspires me to travel more, travel far, see the beauty of place and people, jump out of my comfort zone, experience something new each and every day and do something that really matters; something that makes my soul happy.
I would love if you join me on journeys, on Twitter @iManishaTajne and on Facebook page – The Travel Junkie
